Our Children's Liturgy Group is a special part of our Sunday Mass, designed specifically for primary school-aged children. Its purpose is to help our young parishioners engage with the Word of God, particularly the Sunday Gospel, in a way that is meaningful and accessible to them. We aim to create a warm, safe, and friendly environment where children can explore their faith through prayer, stories, discussion, and fun activities.
The baptism preparation course is for parents preparing for the baptism of their children in Our Lady of Mercy Parish. The course is mandatory and run by our team of parish catechists. It explores the Church's understanding of the sacrament of baptism and what it means to belong to the family of the Chruch.
The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a Catholic devotion to the Divine Mercy, based on the Christological apparitions of Jesus reported by Faustina Kowalska, known as "the Apostle of Mercy". The Chaplet can be prayed at any time, it is most often prayed at 3pm each day or as part of the Divine Mercy Novena. At Our Lady of Mercy Parish, we pray it after the 12:05 Mass on Mondays.
